The dream for 10 Acre Wood started back in 2014 when Ms. Hannah happened across an article detailing Waldkindergartens and nature-based preschools' increasing popularity in the United States. She began working toward opening the school in various ways, but it wasn't until 2019 when the dream was finally able to come true.

Our school mission at 10 Acre Wood is to foster the next generation to become empathetic, considerate, knowledgeable and eco-conscious citizens through role modeling and immersion in nature.
